Very poor and dissapointing service from Truworths
I took my young sons along to Truworths Sandton. Ayanda who was manning the fitting rooms informed me that the fitting room was for ladies only and boys are not allowed. I then asked if Truworths would take full responsibility should anything happen to my 5 & 7 year old sons. She was extremely rude and told me that those were the rules and I had to accept it. I have never witnessed as poor an attitude as I did with this young woman. I asked to see her manager. Daddy the manager, although apologetic did not seem to understand the seriousness of the situation and kept making excuses for her behaviour. Overall, my sons and I had a very negative experience at Truworths and unless something is done, I will be closing my account with them. They did nothing to enhance my shopping experience with them

We have therefore escalated your concerns to the manager of the store in question. We were informed that although the consultant correctly informed you that boys are not allowed in the ladies fitting room, the consultant could have handled the matter in a more appropriate manner and should have made alternative arrangements for you in this regard.
We believe that the Store Manager has contacted you and apologized for your experience, she will further take this as an opportunity to retrain all staff on our store policies and procedures.
