"UNTRU"worth

I received an sms from Truworths worded like this:- R100 Truworths VOUCHER: spoil yourself! Get R100 off on your next purchase. Sebastian, use voucher 161882 in-store by 15Jul24. T&C's I shopped at Truworths for over R1 000 on 29th June and when I showed this voucher, at first they said it's not valid. I wasted almost one hour at the till because the staff was trying to verify it. Finally, they came with the excuse that it's only valid after the 15th of July!!!

"By 15th July" means before 15th July. A primary school kid will tell you that.

I am not worried about a R100 but for a business to send an offer to me and then to interpret it in a way to suit them is surely an unfair trade practise.
