Unprofessional

My son received a sms to come open an account but when he went to our nearest store he was told that he has to have another account at another retailer before he can open one at Truworths. He started working July2020 and needed to open an account for credit records. Whats the use of sending messages to people to open an account then they tell you above as I think it is very stupid.
