UNHELPFUL STAFF - FAIZA
Yesterday afternoon, I went to Truworths to exchange a garment that was purchased a few days prior. The garment was reject and all I needed to do was exchange it for exactly the same item. This item was bought on account and I did not have the proof of purchase, however the swing ticket was still attached and I even had my ID document with me. Faiza who was at the counter rudely intervened whist the teller was trying to assist me. She was arrogant and said that she is unable to assist because we don't have the proof of purchase. I explained that I am from Richards bay and will not be able to make my way to the store again. She was abrupt and said that it was not her problem and I can try another branch because their systems are offline. She did not want to try any alternative to assist me.

I left the store with my reject garment and when I asked if someone other than myself can exchange it for me she blankly refused and said they keep garments for a day.

To me it seems like I was disregarded and completely disrespected as a customer. I am a customer that often purchases at Truworths and this experience has changed my outlook on their quality and services.

We reviewed the concerns raised, and liaised with the Manager at the store in question. We have established that on the day of your visit to the store, the system was indeed offline, and only allowed sales to be processed.
We regret not having reached you on the contact number provided in your post, but confirm that we have made contact with your mother and can advise that this matter has in the interim been resolved.
In addition, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and frustration caused, and for the manner in which you felt you were attended to at the store.
We appreciate your feedback and hope that we have satisfactorily addressed your concerns.
Kind regards,
Chevola
