Unfair treatment with regards to accounts

Truworths account holders need to check up on their accounts with truworths, a family member has an account with truworths for over 10 years, they say 6 months interest free to pay off cell phone purchases but it actually goes further and upon requesting detailed statements from them namely the branch in Pavillion Westville they give you the run around which I feel is very unfair.
