I'm very angry at the fact that Truworths is ******ing me, on the 7th of March 2016 I paid off my account and requested (Truworths Benoni lakeside branch) that it be closed they couldn't because I had taken a funeral policy I requested that it be closed as well I got an Sms informing me that was closed but it would take 30 days to take effect then my Truworths account would be closed the filling day I got an Sms then in two weeks to my surprise I'm told I owe my *** then I get rude Truworths call center agents calling me every day telling it's not their fault that the account is not closed

The insurance policies offered by Truworths are underwritten by Hollard Life Assurance Company Limited which is administered by Trulife.
We liaised directly with Trulife regarding your concerns. We believe that you were contacted by a representative from Trulife who informed you that the request for the cancellation was indeed received on 07 March 2016 and as the effective date was 01 April you are still liable for the premium that was due in March.
Whilst we can verify that the insurance policy has been cancelled we are only able to close to your account once the outstanding balance has been settled.
