Truworths ! You need to be more compassionate!

I am a pensioner. I received a ****** Mary Dress for Christmas.It did not suit my body type and I took it to Truworths Gateway to be exchanged. Bear in mind that only Truworths stock this particular brand. I was asked for a till slip which I didn't have but the dress had its tags on with the price. Truworths Gateway flat out refused the exchange unless I could produce a till slip. My husband had absolutely no problem exchanging his gift at Woolworths also without a receipt. This has left s bitter taste as I now sit with a dress worth over a thousand rand but is now worthless to me! Truworths you need to review your exchange policy with regard to Christmas gifts. I've been a loyal customer of Truworths for over 30 years. Time to close the account which I ironically keep mostly for gifts!!
