Truworths - Worthless
Truworths are the only store that i know never returns anything, They always look for some excuse. I received a shirt as a gift from a member of my family. The shirt does not fit so i took it to return. The store refuses to return it without a receipt. It is the biggest load a non sense. No other retailer does this.<br> <br> They can easily scan the shirt to confirm when it was bought but they just make rules to make them more money.<br> <br> Its not easy to disappoint someone who buys you a gift by asking for the receipt.<br> <br> I will make sure i take this to the consumer complaints commission out of principle.

As a retailer, we are not ordinarily obliged to accept returns, however in good faith and to uphold our high service standard, our returns policy facilitates the exchange or credit of merchandise returned within 30 days from the date of purchase provided that the original proof of purchase or gift receipt is presented, the swing ticket is still attached and the item has not been worn or used.
When an item is purchased as a gift, the purchaser has the option to request a gift receipt in order to facilitate an effortless return for the gift recipient if necessary.
Whilst we acknowledge your frustration in this regard we trust that you will be able to perceive that our policies are in place for the protection of our customers and our company. It ensures that merchandise that is returned has not been worn or used and remains current with our latest fashion trend, thus we deem it vital to be adhered to at all times.
