Truworths worst customer service ever

I brought shoes from Truworths on the 3rd of September 2019 . I wear a size 6, for R499. I fit them in the shop and they fit me correctly. I then purchased the shoes. Upon wearing them the next day I realized that the shoes are so uncomfortable they hurt my feet. I struggled to wear them the whole day at work as I did not have any other per of shoes. Today the 5th of September 2019 I went to exchange these shoes but I was not granted the opportunity to do so buy the store manager. I need an extra per of shoes, This manager at the Eastgate Mall branch tells me that I need to keep these ones and buy another pair, which does not make sense to me. I need another per, what am I supposed to do about these shoes. I have been a loyal customer for more than 7 years now and I pay all my installments, but this is just uncalled for. I willl never but shoes from truworths anymore if they made uncormfortable shoes that we cant wear. or shoes that are made for display only.
