Truworths Wonderboom Junction NO EXCHANGE!!!!
<p>My husband bought me some shoes for my birthday, in other words it was a gift. I decided to exchange it for one size bigger.</p> <p>The guy in Truworths refused to echange it as I didn`t have the credit card with me that was used to do the initial purchase.</p> <p>The shoes was in the Truworths box in the Truworths bag with the proof of purchase. i left the store, my husband went there today and the same guy told him exactly the same. Needles to say my furious husband exchanged the shoes after speaking to the manager.</p> <p>Truworths is going to loose alot of customers with their uneducated staff.</p>

Whilst any merchandise returned to our stores is credited in the original method of tender, we believe that the store could have handled this matter in a more appropriate manner. We therefore liaised with the relevant Store Manager in this regard. The manager acknowledged that she is aware of your husband’s visit and has addressed this matter with the consultant to ensure a more proficient service in future.
In addition, we would like to advise that should any item be purchased as gift, customers may request a gift receipt, to allow an effortless return or exchange for the gift recipient.
We trust that we have adequately responded to your query and once again sincerely apologize for your experience. We hope to see you in our stores again soon.
