Truworths will not exchange online shopping because of company policy not reflected in their t's & c's

TRUWORTHS, UPDATE YOUR TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR ONLINE SHOPPING. Please note that when you purchase anything from Truworths online, you cannot exchange or return the items unless you can produce an original ID or driver's license. NOWHERE is this stipulated on their online t's & c's. So imagine my surprise when I showed up with items to be exchanged after my wallet and ID were ****** to be told I would now be stuck with the items that I could not wear, even though I JUST COLLECTED THE DELIVERY FROM THE VERY SAME STORE LESS THAN 30 MINUTES AGO. A call to the helpline simply told me that it was company policy. I am an ardent fashion shopper but due to your "exceptional" customer service, know fair well Truworths, that I will NEVER support you again. People, there are many South African local fashion retailers to support. Keep your money local. The bigger they are, the less they care. Besides, their fashion is a dime a dozen. I'd rather pay a little more for a unique piece going forward.
