Truworths *****ulent Account

I received an SMS on Monday the 24th of November 2025 to pay my Truworths account and immediately contacted the Truworths ***** department as I do not have a Truworths account. I also reported this to my nearest store and they confirmed that purchases over R15 000 was made using my personal details. I submitted a dispute form to the ***** department followed by follow-up email to which I get no reply. I now have a bad credit against my name for an account that I never app**** for. I have also requested an explanation as to how an account was opened without an original ID document to verify the applicant etc, and still awaiting feedback.

Thus far I have not even received a simple phone call to confirm that the case is being investigated, or any guidance received from them.
