Truworths tries to force clients to open accounts

Company forces you to open an account with them, online customer service told me if I do not open an account then can't buy from them. I don't understand why Truworths if forcing people to open accounts and give detailed personal information before you are allowed to buy anything. A simple profile with name and number should suffice, like it does at all other retailers and online stores!
