truworths takes revenge for late payers

I paid my truworths account in full and requested a settlement, they have sent the settlement letter but until date the national credit bureau has not been update to show that the debt is paid up and that the account is closed, when I called the call centre a lady rudely tells me that 'if I took so long to pay my debt maybe Truworths is just returning the favour in not updating my profile at the credit bureau'. This is utter ********, I want this to be updated with in the next 24 to 48 hours, or I will personally take this to court and let Wendy Knowler have a go at you people.

Thank you for your post. We were unable to locate your account on our database and liaised with our Legal Department in this regard. We were informed that your account was transferred to collections agency, Munnik Basson Da Gama (MBD) in April 2014 and therefore we no longer have the account on our records. We confirm that, we requested the paid up letter from MBD. This was received today 17 May 2016 and an instruction was submitted to all credit bureaus to update the status of your payment profile to reflect a paid up status. We trust that we were able to adequately resolve this matter for you. Kind regards, Truworths Online Team
