Truworths Standerton closing times
On the 5th of Desember 2017 I went to Truworths Standerton at 16:30 and the rude security guard informed me that the doors are already closed and only the customers already in the shop will be helped even though it clearly states on the door that business hours are from 9AM to 17H00. NOT 16H30!! I need an answer on this please. If it states the business is open until 17H00 then the doors must open until 17H00. That is how it works anywhere else at any business. As we were concerned to read about the unacceptable incident that occurred at one of our stores, we immediately contacted the respective Store Manager to investigate this matter.
We have ascertained that the mentioned security guard unfortunately is no longer seconded to the store. We believe that the Store Manager has contacted you to discuss your concerns raised, and has also apologized to you for the incident.
Whilst we acknowledge that all security guards are employed by an independent contractor to Truworths, they are mandated to uphold the international service standards which we expect from all staff as well as our affiliates. To this end, we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience and frustration caused as a result of this matter.
We trust that we were able to acceptably attend to your query and once again wish to apologise to you and your mother for the incident.
