Truworths -Sheppie Mall

I'm completely Disgusted and appalled by the lack of customer service provided by Truworths in SHEPPIE MALL. I went to purchase an item that was marked for R429. After waiting 20 mins to pay I finally got to the till n upon seeing my slip I advised the consultant that she charged me R680 which is the incorrect price. The consultant and team leader/2IC decided to call the manager MICHELLE NAIDOO and the area manager KUBASHEN PILLAY who basically told her that there is nothing they can do and I need to pay the price if I want the item. After spending 45 mins in the store I was left feeling so frustrated and due to the item being a gift and all the other stores being closed I decided to take it anyway. It's honestly not about the mere R200 overcharge but rather the lack of ethics and business practices that follow. None of the managers bothered to speak to me and apologise. I will be escalating this to the NCC as this is a clear violation of the CPA. So sad how such a dishonest act has cost the brand a frequent loyal customer.
