Truworths ripping customers off
<p>Truwoths Menlyn refusing to take one of their own goods back because they claim they are in no condition to be resold. i bought the pants at Menlyn stores and i did not fit them nor check the quality of the pants. when i got home the same evening i tried on the pants and they did not fit and decided to return the pants the following day with everything still intact (Price tag). when i got to the store the supervisor refused to take the pants and said the worn, i asked her to checkthe pants on the system and see if they were not bought before and for how long the if bought were they in possesion of that person, the 2nd possibility is that people try on clothes all time and their quality is compromised. I did not wear the pants and Throwoths is just dismissing my case just like that without doing proper investigations.</p>

We were informed that the garment referred to in your post was assessed by the Store and Area Manager who confirmed; that the garment was not in its original condition as such your return could not be authorized. We believe that our consultant has contacted you to inform you of the outcome.

But how ever that is a blatant lie, no area manager checked the garment. i have made a request of the vidoe footage of when i bought the trouser, and have requested that you track the movement of the trousers and see if they have never left the store before. but none of that was made available to me. i have no choive but to forward the matter to the consumer ombardsan.
Even your staff themself have admitted that some of the clothes they din boxes are of poor quality, they are either torn or the material is just cheap, they are of reject standard.
