Truworths parcel collection policy

Truworths parcel collection policy is absolutely a waste of time. I do not understand why I need to produce a physical form of identification i.e identity document when I have the order reference number and the parcel is under my name and i have proof of the order on my profile on the Truworths site. When you produce your ID they do not use it for scanning or anything of that sort, so why do I need to provide it? I have collected multiple parcels at my local Truworths store so are they worried I am not me? Maybe I have clone? It's absolutely ridiculous and a waste of time.
