Truworths Online

I am very disappointed in this store. First time ordering shoes for my kids from truworths online and I am very upset. I placed the order last night 16 December 2024 for collection at the game city branch in Durban. No where did it say anything about how long the order would take so I thought it would come this week before Christmas. This morning 17 December I recieved an sms saying the order will be delivered in 5 to 7 working days. I went to the order it is supposed to be collected at as this is the store closest to my work place. The guy who helped me was of no use and all he said was there's nothing they can do I must fall head office and try cancel it. I asked someone else in the store for the manager and after 10 minutes of waiting on my lunch break the lady comes back and says the manager is on an important call she can't come out and assist me, how ridiculous is this🤬🤬🤬 customers are supposed to come first at all times!!! I explained to the worker and she said the order will only come after Christmas as that is their process it takes 5 to 7 working days and If I want to cancel it I should call online department. When I got back to work I called online department and was assisted by some Amanda or Mandisa lady who checked for the order and said there's nothing they can do onw of the items has been found in the western cape. How is that even possible when I live in Durban!!! I asked to speak to a manager and very rudely was told by this lady that oh a manager will tell me the same thing she said. So I asked her how is it possible that nothing on the website says it will come from another province when there is so many truworths stores In Durban this is misleading customers!!!! I am extremely angry that my kids christmas shoes will be delivered after Christmas and utterly disappointed with the fact that my needs as a customer wasn't prioritized and taken care of as customers always come first and because I work in the financial industry I live and breathe customers first!!! Never buy online from this store and I want my order canceled or sent to me by Friday this week!!! Worst online experience ever!!
