TRUWORTHS LOST THE PLOT POPIA VIOLATION AND MORE!

So Truworths gets s company by the name of Durban Client to give you a daily call re a account thst is not overdue. Actually this account has been handled perfectly. Payment is normally by the 5th off every month and the exact due amount has always been paid. Yesterday a family member was called, her number was never given on any form of application, and she was informed that my Truworths account is overdue they even provided her with my id. This afternoon low and behold I get a call from this Duban Client number and get told that my account is overdue! I told her that I cannot understand this daily calling because there was never any problem on my account, she just blabber that the sccount is overdue. Good grief tomorrow is my date that I pay every month! I told her that they violate the popia act by calling a family member and advised them to remove the number. She just said, sorry. Sorry is not good enough, how dare they phone a family member. I told her that I will pay my account up and never ever put a foot in any Truworths. We are talking here about a R6000 account. They just lost a loyal client. She just said-fine! If they call any family member again I will get in touch with the necessary entities re popia act violations.
