Truworths Legal Refuses to give statement of Estate Account

I am busy sorting out my late fathers estate and Truworths has advised me that there is an amount of almost R13 000 that we need to pay on the account because my father had no insurance on his account. The problem is that they refuse to give me a detailed statement and insist on giving me an amount over the phone which I must pay. This is pathetic, how do I pay for an amount which I do not even know what its made up of, it feels like Truworths is hiding things from us. I have sent numerous emails to the Truworths Legal email to no avail. We are willing to pay account provided we have breakdown, I cant just pay amount given to me over the phone is it too much for the Executor to ask for the statement of the account before paying?

Hi, they **** to you. They still gave me a one line balance on a letter and refuse to give me the three months bank statement. Clearly Truworths does not need the money, we will pay the other creditors and send a letter of insolvency to you
