Truworths laybyes

Went to truworths jubilee mall to make a laybye like I always do and I was very disappointed, to my surprise I was told that my laybye was declined based on what reasons even the staff could not answer, I have been doing laybyes at truworths since they started this thing of laybyes in their stores and my understanding of laybye is that you pay for the item before you take it home, they are not giving me credit, I am paying for the item and before reserving the item the is a certain percentage I must pay for that item, they are nt losing anything. Very disappointing
