Truworths is very bad & ******!
I bought 2 items at Truworths Westgate using a debit card & when i wanted to exchange/return the store manager refused to take them & tried to force me to take a gift card instead of cash. It is not for the first time she is doing that. I am now sitting with the items and i dont know what to do with them & they even exceeded the return policy period. She is rude & have no respect for the customers. I heard lot of customers complaining with her & had the similar problem/experience.

In line with our Returns Policy, we will allow for a return or exchange within 30 days from the date of purchase, provided that valid proof of purchase is presented and all criteria of this policy are met.
As you initially returned to the store within this allocated period, we have escalated this matter for the attention of the respective Store Manager, and confirm that she has been liaising with you regarding your concerns raised. We do however also confirm that you were correctly advised in store that in the absence of your bank card, we could not offer your cash back, and could only offer you a gift card.
We acknowledge your frustration regarding this matter, but are pleased that it is being attended to. We trust that the matter will be acceptably resolved shortly, and hope to see you in our stores again soon.
