Truworths In Ballito Falsely Acquires New Accounts
On the 23 of April 2015. I, Caressa Naicker, had gone into the Truworths store with my manager. the guy serving us (indian named Mohammed if I am not mistaken who was with an African gentleman) had told me if I opened the account I would receive vouchers. I had sent the sms and my account was approved immediately for R4000. i was in a hurry and he said if i had activated it i would receive vouchers for my new account. i went back to him a week later and he said when i am purchasing they would give me my vouchers. Today the 30/05/15 i went in store to make a payment and enquired about the vouchers and the manager had stated i did not qualify for any. i am livid as i only opened the account due to the promise of receiving these vouchers. I also work in retail and false promises should not be made to customers in an attempt to acquire new account customers. My account was approved in such a quick manner because i am a loyal customer of their sister group Identity. <br> Such dishonesty should not be tolerated.<br> I will never shop in the Ballito Truworths store again.
