TRUWORTHS' HARRASSMENT FOR R300 THAT HAS BEEN ARRANGED FOR

This month I short paid my Truworths account by R300 and made an arrangement promptly to settle the full amount outstanding in ten days. Yet I am being harassed with phone calls every day. Just got an email telling me that my ‘payment behavior is being reported to the credit bureau”. I feel harassed. Further they inform me that my account is ‘overdue’ by an amount which includes the instalment which is only due at the beginning of next month. So their communication is defective, untrue and unnecessary. Especially in light of the fact that I made an arrangement with them for the whopping R300 that I short paid. I have been a customer for almost 30 years. Considering they are somewhat up market, I find this treatment all the more distasteful.
