Truworths Grahamstown unprofessional!!!

I bought a jean and top last week on account. I bought bigger sizes cause I knew the cut of the items were going to be small. When I got home I took off the tags as I had taken bigger sizes I assumed they would fit. As I put them on, the jean is very badly designed that I couldn't even breathe and it's a size 44 while I actually wear size 40. The Top is very tight around my breast area and it pulls up. Now unfortunately I can't pay for something that I didn't wear or wont be wearing. When I arrived at Grahamstown the lady there told me that it's against Truworths policy to take items that don't have tags. This is absolutely hogwash because I have returned items that had no tags as recent as last week at Truworths in Durban Gateway and I had no issues. Please can I get assistance with this and have my account credited.
