Truworths consultant have to be fired, or taking the matter to court
The consultant that phoned me refused to tell me her name, and was asking me about my spending habits - and when I said it has nothing to do with her, she put the phone down in my ear before threatening me and said she is giving me over to the lawyers. She didn’t even give me chance to speak. I recorded the phone call and will take this matter further.
My account was in a R 1,000 credit for more than a year, where I struggled to get my money back, so I bought on my account. Now because I was unemployed at that time, the lady is literally YELLING at me why did I spend money on my account when I was unemployed, but I was in R 1,000 credit and it cost more than R 1000. I’m only R 2,000 outstanding on my account, with a credit limit of R 18,000.00 It has absolutely nothing to do with her, my spending habits, and I will take her to court personally for threatening me over the phone.
This is UNACCEPTABLE.
I am ashamed for Truworths part that they have employed such a terrible employee.
Kindly give me the details of the consultant - and please listen to the recording.
This matter needs to be escalated, and I need the consultant details urgently, nobody speaks to me like that.
I am very disappointed in Truworths, and will close my account and encourage the rest of the people to do so.

So if you send your Retrenchment papers to them, they have to write off the debt.
But they will never let you know that, they would rather threaten you, than be honest.
