Truworths cell phone department is a **** more especially at Carnival Mall. All their phones are not working.

On the 8th November 2022 I bought a phone at Truworths Carnival, 3 days later I realized that the listening speaker was not working, I then took it back to truworths for them to check what was the problem. They checked it and discovered that the speaker was not working but they refused to take it for repairs because I didn't bring the phone's box with me. I went back several times because I couldn't find the box because we were moving and I misplaced it, still they refused to take the phone. Luckily as I was busy unpacking my things 3-4 months later I found the box but unfortunately my phone fell and the screen had broken but I took the whole phone package to truworths for them to fix the speaker. They took the phone for repairs but unfortunately they charged me R3900 to fix the whole phone, I then told them that I only wanted them to fix the speaker not the broken screen so I didn't accept their quote. Then they wanted me to pay the rejection fee of R270 before they can bring back my phone. I refused to pay it because I didn't understand why I should pay that money while they failed to assist me. Truworths repairs then said I will not get it back until I've payed that R270 otherwise they are going to sell it after 90 days. Up until now I still don't have my phone back. Please help I feel it's really unfair for me to pay for the phone that I don't have and it's still with them. I went there several times to check for it but they refused to give it back. Now they have Blacklisted me because I stopped paying for the phone they took and never brought it back to me. Now it's 2024 I still don't have my phone. Thuli from Carnival Mall said it's not their problem anymore, I must go to their phone repair company myself abayingini. I told her that I didn't take or buy my phone from those people but from Truworths and truworths is the one took my phone there not me. I have no business with those people hence I brought it to truworths since I bought it from them.

Please help me truworths cell phone department is ****ming people. They are selling broken phones and expects us to just accept noma yini. I called and sent several emails to the head office but they couldn't assist me too.
