Truworths bad customer service

I received a gift with a gift receipt to exchange if the size was wrong with a 30 day exchange policy. The item was on sale 50% off. I exchanged for a bigger size in 14 days was told the sale ended 04-Aug and I can exchange but have to pay in the difference of the current price. This is just wrong

I trust to hear from you soonest as I did the gift exchange at Truworths Ltd Liberty Promenade Mall, Transaction no *** and had to pay in a R90 cash difference.
