Truworths Accounts

After hundreds of telephone calls and sms' in the last 2 years, where I have insisted on every call that I do not own a Truworths account could you please stop sending me final demands for an account I do not have.

These telephone calls have now turned into sms's threatening legal action. I phoned the telephone number provided on the sms only to find it does not work. After the welcome message there is a series of computer beeps and then silence.

I have called Truworths head office and I was transferred 3 times and told to send a copy of the sms I received with a letter of final demand to an e-mail address. I informed Truworths head office I will not provide them my e-mail address as I do not want to be spammed on that platform so I was then put on hold and after 10 minutes on hold I hung up.

This continuous harassment by Truworths is causing me emotional distress, is unacceptable and Truworths is refusing to remove my number. A simple Truecaller search will show that my number does not belong to the Truworths account holder they are trying to contact.
