Truworth failed me as a client
Staff at Jubilee Mall Truworth are so helpful especially Ms Maureen, the head office mostly their Legal department, on the 26th September 2024,I went to Truworth Jubilee Mall as it is the place where I had the 6 months interest free contract with. Their head office accept *****ulent documents with *****ulent signature, incomplete residential address, incomplete full names and a wrong email address. Thembeka Maphosa called me around 8h30, whom I told I was going to Jubilee Mall Truworth, where I opened my account. Unfortunately we were unable to speak to Ms Thembeka, but managed to speak to Annalo and Kim from their collection department. My issue is that even after been de*****ed by YMA Consulting for an amount of R10788.63, I didn't change my bank account which I provided to Truworth, where they have been debiting my account. I never canceled my banking details with Truworth and I made it clear to them when I visited them on the 11th March 2023. I owed Truworth less than R550 and left with 2 months to pay them which was February and March 2023. It doesn't make sense to me to opt for deptreview with an account that was up to date and was paid by debit order. It doesn't make sense again, they made *****ulent agreement behind my back with YMA Consulting where R10788.63 was debited on my Capitec Bank account on the 18th March 2023,but failed to honor their agreement, but opt to punish me as their client. They advised me to report YMA Consulting to National Credit Regulator C57391 which I did. The failure of Truworth to do their work and screen all documents coming to their desk, cost me a lot as their clients.
