Tricky and cheating stuff and poor quality of material
Two incidents
1. I was scouting for perfumes - Was speaking to one of your consultants that the Michael Kors one was expensive at R1300 and the other came to with the other one and said it was R685.00 which I didn't check. I realised later at home that it was actually R1685 and feel ******* because I had already opened the perfume and now I'm being told by your staff that they can't take it back because I opened the box even though I didn't use the perfume at all. I feel cheated and ******* by your staff and I am properly annoyed to say the very least.
2. I bought lacy underwear last week and the white panties came off at the stitches after one wear. This is not the Truworths quality that I'm used to. Yuck!
Thank you for alerting us to this incident and affording us the opportunity to respond.
Upon receipt of your post, we liaised with the Admin Manager at the respective store regarding the concerns raised in your post.
We were advised, by the Admin Manager at the respective store, that the matter has been addressed with the consultants who instructed you of the price for the mentioned perfume. Further to this, we were also informed that the correct price, as noted on the perfume packaging, was made known to you.
We regret not being able to make contact with you on the number provided in your post, but confirm that a message was left to inform you that we will not be able to authorize the credit of the perfume, as it is no longer in a resalable condition
It is the odd exception where an item may fall short of our high quality standards and our returns policy makes provision for such returns to be assessed within six months from the date of purchase. For this reason, we kindly request that the underwear be taken to the respective store, to be evaluated.
We appreciate your feedback and patronage. Should you have any further concerns, kindly contact us directly on ***, or send an e-mail to: ***.
Kind regards,
Truworths Online Team
