Treated Like a ******** in Truworths
Good day I am an customer for like 10years +/- and yesterday I went to the truworths in the mall of Africa to purchase perfume and few other things . When I went to the cashier to pay she informed me that before she continues she needs to ask me 3 verification questions. well she started with my physical addy which I gave and she said its incorrect. she then asked me for my cell number which I repeated few times and she insisted that I told her my number ends in 15 when it ends in 16. obviously she marked the 1st question wrong and now this one. so she asked me for my ID which was in my car and further to this they made me feel as if im a ******** ??? her name is nonkuleko (perfume department) and her manager did the same insisting on my ID.She actually made me take my phone out to show her that I receive messages from truworths yet I told her I made a purchase few weeks ago the long weekend in August . I left the goods because at this point I was embarrassed although it was not even my error. But I went to my car got my id and when I arrived nonkuleko did like she didn see us and her manager came to assist . so I asked her what is my physical address ? she says 20 Kirkland street Newcastle ? that is the CBD in Newcastle not even a house. I feel that treating me like I am a ******** is ******** taking into consideration my years of dealing with the company. I did not purchase the goods and then the manager wanted to update my physical address I told her not to worry I will address it up on HelloPeter and to their head office.
