Torn Shoes

Greetings Last year around June or July I bought ladies long boots at a Truworths Retail shop at Bloed Mall Pretoria,because my size was not available (at the shop)they told me that they were going to order them somewhere. It was special delivery and the box was messed up when I collected the boots and I was told " not to mind the box". I wore the boots for two months last year and this year I wore the boots for two months. All of a sudden the boots were torn (Maybe the boots got ruined on their way). Then I went to the Truworths shop(around 5pm-6pm on the 9th of July) and told them that the boots were torn, then I told the store manager and he said that he has knocked off and there is nothing he can do,because the policy of returning the item(s) is six months. Because he has knocked off he referred me to Yvonne then she called the area manager. The area manager said they must take them for assessment and said the assignment will take two weeks( I don't think they went for assessment) ,yet in two days (on the 11th July around 11h00am to 12h00pm)the store manager called me to come fetch my boots.He did the inquirie they said it's been a year there's nothing they can do. I have been a loyal customer for more than twenty years and I have never experienced the horrible service I was given by the store manager. The reason of buying at Truworths is that there is quality but this time around there was no quality available. I used to wear the shoes for more than 3 to 4 years. I'm so disappointed.
