Torn dress

I bought a dress at Thruworths Lalucia Durban, end of October and my daughter only wore it in January. While ironing the dress she discovered that it was torn. I then made time to drive 60kms to the shop and told them about the dress. I let them know that I had misplaced the slip. They then requested that i produce a bank statement. We agreed that i will get the bank statement and come back to them.

I finally found time and drove 60kms again to the store. I showed the lady the bank statement but she didn’t even look at it and asked for my bank card. I then explained that I had changed bank cards because it had *****ulent activities happening. She didn’t believe and still didn’t look at the bank statement showing my account number.

We argued about her not believing me until she called security to kick me out the shop. I then told the security that this lady is being rude to and i have driven twice long distance for this enquiry but she refuses to assist me. I have done nothing wrong. However i did leave the shop as well as the dress. I told her that she can keep her torn dress, anyways it cannot be worn.

I am writing to gain assistance for this enquiry. On my side I have exhausted all areas. I couldn’t handle the disrespect I got from that staff member.
