Took my money into a wrong account
I paid my current truworths account at springs the avenue on the 29/04/2015, the person who assisted me took my money into my old account that was handed over 5 years back and I am done paying. I received SMS three days after I paid. I went to different stores where they called the head office to resolve the matter, up to this day the matter is not resolved as I still receive calls and SMS saying my account is overdue. I paid the amount of R200 and faxed the receipt from the kempton branch to the office. I am expected to pay R340 end of May to avoid further arearrs while the issue is still outstanding. And last time when I went to kempton park branch was told my money is transferred into the correct but it seems as if it is not as they still call and text me about my account being overdue.
Thanks
Bertha
Thank you for your post and allowing us the opportunity to attend to this matter for you.
We have investigated your concerns raised and found that the payment was indeed allocated to an older account, which was paid up and closed. This account was picked up on our database, following a manual search done by the store consultant, as you did not have your Truworths account card available on the day.
We wish to confirm that, following receipt of your proof of payment the funds were successfully allocated to your correct account and will reflect on your next statement.
We trust that we were able to adequately attend to your concerns raised, and wish to apologise for any inconvenience caused in this regard.
Should you have any further comments or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact us on *** or via email on ***.
Kind regards,
Lynn
