TIME AND MONEY WASTERS...THAT IS TRUWORTHS.

So, I lodged a complaint a few days ago about a cardigan I bought from Truworths and clearly stated everything. I made it clear that I had no slip nor the gift card that I bought it from but the person who bought me the gift card had a Truworths account. I went to visit the Hemingways store, like I was advised by whoever handles the Truworths Hello Peter complaints and met a lady called Nomvu. She told me that she would be able to assist me with a physical Truworths card from the owner, their ID, a written letter from them as well as my own ID. I did not have these with me, well, only my own ID but told her that I'd pop in the past Wednesday with everything.

On Wednesday, came to the store with everything and the cardigan and to my disappointment, Nomvu was not in. I was assigned to another lady in store to help me. they made photocopies of everything. They alerted me that the account was in areas and I'd need to pay R170 so they can refund me with a gift card. Unfortunately, I did not have the amount on me but told them I'd pay it in some days time. They said they'd keep the jersey with them, so long and I had no problem with this. I don't know how or when the story changed that they needed to call the Truworths Head Office because they needed a certain number that would have been on the till slip or the gift card. Anyways, the lady came back and told me that the head office says there is no way that they can help me...now the situation had changed that even if the R170 was paid, I would need go get the R850 voucher.

How is that? That I am told two different things in less than 30 minutes. That cardigan is way too expensive for it not to even make 2 months. Nobody is to tell me about friction, ofcourse I will walk and my arms will come in contact with the rest of my body. I do not buy clothes to stand still, in them. The size is correct, I do not buy sizes smaller so I can squeeze myself in them. I have a cardigan I bought on the same day and it has not given me any problem. Clearly this is a factory fault and Truworths needs to take back their jersey and refund me. How is my time and money wasted like this!

I am not happy.
