This response will make for interesting reading!!!
This is the 2nd incident of this nature by the same branch manager. I need a valid explanation, to say the least!!! I ordered an Item from the 'fashion hotline / courier service'. I agreed to pay the fee. I received a call: Your item is ready for collection. I thanked the lady and confirmed that I would collect at my earliest convenience. My account was debited with immediate effect. So as I understand it: This item mine. I left for a holiday shortly after. I did not manage to collect this item timeously, however, it did not even phase me as I have been billed and see no harm in the parcel being kept in store till I collect. NO ... I was very wrong. I went to collect the parcel and was informed that I took too long... My account was credited (only the item not the courier cost)! It did not suit Truworths to keep my parcel till I collected it... was 'space' a problem? For the record, my account is supported and paid on a very regular basis!!!! No this has no impact at all!! The disappointing part is that the Branch Manager responsible for both these actions knows me as a client and yet still opted to show me that this is her decision and a good buying & paying client means nothing!
