This is how they treat customers

So, let's be clear on a few facts. As having been a member of Truworths since the year 2000, I have, an extensive credit-history. This December, I wanted to test what would happen if a long-standing client (of 18 years), missed the January payment, by a few days. Lord Almighty! Merlin's beard! You are considered a ********. The story is true! I was phoned today, and Thankfully not (from what I have heard), a generic 033 number.... I answered politely that i am that specific person, and the genius on the phone proceeded to tell me (without verification) that she is calling about an overdue account. Something she mentioned. The fact that the account was overdue. THEN and only THEN did she attempt to ascertain if the information she was confirming to determine if this was the account-holder... But it was too late, she had told a random person that Mr so-and-so's account was overdue... The Fiancee was called after a very short duration, who was received with the same demeanor. It's a tragedy that someone with such a long history was literally questioned like a common bilge-rat....PS: We paid the account tonght... but we now know exactly what we think of them, and it's not much. wach me as I walk about ... very disappointed in the methods used for a missed payment..Its a ****** disgrace.

They're still contacting my my SO to get hold of me. My Phone is on, but, as per usual, nothing...Its an embarrassing situation on their part, a total disgrace, whomever they are using as their "debt collectors". it's a joke and a half at this point. I pity the person who had real debt problems with them.
