Think twice before buying due to lack of replacement straps

I purchased a Bad Girl smartwatch from Truworths because I liked the fact that it came with two different straps, a silicone strap and a mesh strap. Unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing.

Both straps broke within a few months of normal use. I tried to repair the mesh strap with glue, but this only lasted for about another month before it came apart again.

The most frustrating part is the lack of after-sales support. I have tried to find replacement straps, including searching on Takealot, but have had no luck. Truworths does not appear to sell replacement straps, and I also cannot find contact information for the Bad Girl brand to ask where replacements can be purchased.

Consumers should be able to purchase basic replacement parts for a smartwatch, particularly something as essential and replaceable as the strap. I would hesitate to purchase another Bad Girl smartwatch unless Truworths or the manufacturer makes replacement straps readily available and provides proper after-sales support.
