Theft at Truworths Matlosana Shopping Mall

On 04/08/2019 I visited Truworths clothing shop at Matlosana shopping Mall. An employee who assisted me stole my cellphone whilst I was fitting the dress which I bought after after comparing and finally considered to buy. After personal investigation I was able to establish through MTN itemised billing on 07/08/2019 where the missing cellphone was and it led me to Disebo Maponya who is an employee who assisted me. On 08/08/2019 I brought the matter to the attention of Truworths. This employee has resigned and refuses to return the phone. Truworths is in possession of her resignation letter and a statement of confession detailing reasons for her resignation. Truworths says it cannot assist in any way as the employee has resigned and is no longer its employee.
