Truworths handed my account over attorneys because I missed my payment date in about 3 days!!! my payment was due on the 30th June 2015 and they handed me to the attorneys on the 3rd of July 2015

I mean like really now! this is going to affect my credit record.. only because of 3 days! what kind of company is this now?

I will pay them and close this account, I know it might not make difference but word of mouth is powerful!

I am so disappointed! and to think this was my first account

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to clarify your concerns.
We acknowledge your frustration regarding communications about the status of your Truworths account. However, according to our records your account has been in arrears since April 2015, but has not been handed over to attorneys. We confirm that arrangements were noted on your account, and we appreciate the payments received for your account, these were regretfully not sufficient to cover the installments and arrears due.
Until such time as this amount has been paid, correspondence in the form of letters, SMS notifications and phone calls are automatically generated as a reminder of the importance of bringing your account up to date as your credit record is an asset.
We look forward to seeing your account being brought up to date with payment, so that you can continue to enjoy all of the benefits of being an account holder.
Should you have any other feedback or concerns, contact us directly on *** or send an e-mail to: *** and we will gladly assist.
Kind regards,
Lynn
