Terrible Credit Control System
After loosing my job for a while, it happened tha I defaulted on my Truworths account and it was handed over to RL Daly attorneys.I was informed that by making a payment arrangement and honouring my monthly payments arrangement(which I did) I will improve my credit score. However I only found out recently when applying for home finance that all these months sticking to the arrangement, my credit profile shows that I haven't made a payment on the account for months now. I have a worse credit rating than I did before. Clearly it was never updated. I have tried to find out what has happened from one of the consultants and have heard nothing. Quite disappointing!!

Your credit score is a summary of the positive and negative factors reflecting on your credit profile report. As your account was handed over to RL Daly the full balance was due and when payments were made this updated information was to be sent to the credit bureaus.
We have liaised with RL Daly in this regard and were informed that your account is currently settled in full.
As mandated by the National Credit Act (NCA), your Truworths payment profile will remain on your record for 24 months from the date that the outstanding balance on your account was settled.
Whilst we were unable to reach you on the number listed on your post, we trust that we were able to clarify your concerns in this regard and urge you to contact RL Daly on 031- *** for assistance.
