terrible attitude of the consultant

I have an account with Truworths for the past 3 years and on this years I have never had a default or my account being on arrears. This months has been a night mare for me when they were calling me almost everyday because my account is on arrears, even when I told them that I know about the arrears and I will fix that. The last stroll was when I received a call @20h48 from *** on 2015-02-20 and when told the consultant that she cannot invade my privacy by calling this late she hunged up the phone on my ears. That's what we call bad service, I will pay my account and close and I will make sure that anybody who is associated with me does not do businees with the company

Hello nonzi99,

When an account reflects in arrears, various forms of correspondence are automatically generated as a reminder of the importance of bringing your account up to date and that your credit worthiness is an asset.

We note your frustration at being contacted after hours; however, at Truworths we are fully compliant with the Debt Collectors Act 114 of 1998, which states that we may make telephone calls for the purpose of outstanding payment of a debt up until 21h00 in the evening, from Monday to Saturday.

Please be advised that we have escalated your concerns raised, and have ascertained that the consultant did indeed not handle the call in accordance with our high service standards. The inappropriate behavior and poor level of customer service has since been addressed with the respective consultant, to ensure that it remains an isolated incident.

We are pleased to confirm that your account has subsequently been paid up to date. If you have any other queries or concerns, please feel free to contact us on *** or e-mail ***.

Regards,
Charmaine
