SUPER DISAPPOINTED

I was at the Truworths Stanger store on the 25.01.2024, purchasing items that had the sale sticker on them only to find that once the cashier charged the items, two of them scanned at the original price. I requested to pay the marked down price but the manager advised that it is not Truworths policy and they will not give the items to me at the sale price. I was shocked as i have been a customer at Truworths for approximately 20 years and never heard such a statement previously. THE PRICE THE CUSTOMER SEES IS THE PRICE THEY PAY. One just cannot say that the item is no longer on sale and the stores policy is such. i contacted the customer service department who advised that the store manager had escalated the matter to the area manager ( this was not communicated to me at the store, she only advised the items will not be given to me at the sale price), i have not been contacted ever since. At this point i am very upset and disappointed.
