Stuck with a garmet i would not use, due to your *********** instore merchandising

On the 10/12/24 i bought a black vest step in body shaper from Galleria Mall. i mistakenly took an incorrect size due to the urgency as i was already in the que. today 11/12/24 i went to the store to exchange and i was told that due to the policy i am unable to return the item. On the item tag, it states that "for hygien reasons, panties and boxers are not permitable for exchange or returns. can only be considered if the tag is still attached to "this item". And on the receipt, it states that no exchanges or returns on underware, swimear without the strip in place. I am talking about an item that does not even have enclosure underneath. and online your policy states that "No returns of underwear, gift cards, prepaid cellular airtime, and body piercing jewellery (including earrings), face masks and hand sanitising products will be permitted". Could you just explain which policy relates to the instore purchase with regards to an item listed as a step-in vest, with no underneath enclosure. That was bought a day before and they can look at their cameras if there need be to proof that i took the garmet in a hurry thinking it was a L size that i was looking for. They are the cause of such as the merchandise is all over the place. There is no order on that section firstly, i had to browse through a giant of iteams stagged in one place looking for a size. Should this being merchandised properly, this wouldn't have happened. Atleast i would i have also understood if it was on sale section, but it was not. The whole experience felt like i was in some street vendor shop where you have to go through stashed items just for me to get what im looking for. I am not happy about the overall experience at Truworth and as customer i am utterly disgusted by the service and now having to retain, pay and be stuck with an item that wont fit me that was meant to be a gift for myself but no i wont use it. And as for the Store manager, Makhosi, that is no way to treat your customers you do not even try to investigate or either look for any difaults either that come from your office to tell me that the "POLICY". you have 3 different types of policy, which is the correct one?
