Struggling since Sep 2014 to get claim resolved
I have been retrenched last year August as soon as have received my documents from my ex employers I contacted Truworths to explain my situation.

I was then told to email a few document to an email address. I then called two days later just to inquire if my documents have been received. No one had any idea of my documents and once again I had to repeat myself.

A different email address was then given to me and again I forward the relevant documentation. Again I called and again NO one received my emails.

I then went to the Bayside branch where I explained and asked if they could fax it to the relevant department. I asked for a confirmation slip , the assistant manager said that he cannot give me a slip, but assured me that it was delivered.

I then waited a week or so and when I contacted them , no one received anything! I thenemailed again and again and again.

In the interim I have made arrangements to make payments as being unemployed I can not pay the full installment.

I have honoured my end of the deal , but ofcourse in the interim I have been handed over to their collection department, where I get harassed on a daily basis.

To make a long story short. its been 5mnths
At Truworths, customer service excellence is of primary importance to us and we appreciate the opportunity to resolve your query.
We have investigated your concerns raised, and can confirm that information with reference to your retrenchment has been noted on our system.
Additionally, when an account is in arrears, it is inevitable that the account holder will receive various forms of communication as reminders that your payment profile held with us and at the credit bureaus will be negatively affected.
We are pleased to advise you that we have, in the interim, received confirmation that your retrenchment claim submitted with Finrite has been successful. Our apologies for any inconvenience caused as a result of this matter and we trust that it has been acceptably addressed.
Kind regards,
Charmaine
