Store policy that doesn't favor the customers
On the 31st December I bought a Sumsung A07 at Truworths East Rand Mall. I bought this phome because the one I was using was no longer working and was soon ginna go back to work and I use it a lot because my boss is always not around.
The lady who was called to come help me wasn't even willing to help me. She had a grumpy face until I left it was like she was forced to help me I dont know but I didn't mind her I thought maybe she is sick.
On the 06 day the phone started acting up and unfortunate I couldn't return it because I was in North West and I didn't have a slip with me, so I only managed to go on the 10th and I got another lady who told me that she was gonna exchange it if it was within 7 days but now its late she must book the phone and send it back to MTN which will take 6 to 8 weeks. So I took the phone with coz I dont have the phone even my old is not working properly. So I came back know with the phone. I told her I will wait for my pay day to fix the old one because I was charged 800 for it my old.one first then bring this one.
Little did I know that the Statement is still on the way and Truworths wants R714.00 as a monthly instalment. From 320 the money that I usually pay.
I am sitting here I dont know what and how I am going to do all this the sad part is that the phone that I will be paying for is freezing , its slow and mostly restarts itself more than 5 times a day. Even the speaker is down.
If I had known its 6 months to.pay I would hav not bought the phone. I find this unfair for myself as a buyer because the phone has factory faults I didn't break it and what should I use for work purposes if I dont have a phone.
Now I must pay their high instalmenr for phone that is not working and hav money to fix my phone. How will I do that?
