Sms with false information, re: your new account.
I app**** for a new account at Truworths via the Internet, after a few ours a lady calls me and ask me to send her documents via email or fax so I asked if I could go into a branch to do that. She rep**** yes, so that is what I did. Yesterday I received a sms that my account was approved. This is the direct words of the sms: HI MR NC VAN VUUREN UR TRUWORTHS ACCOUNT HAS BEEN APPROVED WITH VOUCHERS. Account is open you can spend R4430. Remember to bring your ID. I went to the nearest store close to me where I went to sent my documents for this account. At the store a different lady helps me, after she entered my id number in their system she tells me there is no record of me on the system. I then show her the sms I got from them, she just said I must phone customer service she can't do anything. After an hour I called the customer service number, the man that helps me asked my id number and I gave it to him. Then he asks if I can stay on the line he wants to confirm something. After a minute,SORRY MR VAN VUUREN YOUR ACCOUNT IS STILL WAITING FOR APPROVAL, WE HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED YOUR BANK STATEMENTS. How is this possible after confirmation they received it. Who has my payslips ect.
