Shoes broken after 4 months
I bought a pair of tan leather gladiator sandals at Truworths at Somerset Mall in December 2014. 2 Weeks ago the metal pieces in the soles became loose and fell out and last week the one shoe broke loose from the sole completely. I have paid almost R500 for the shoes and I am deeply disappointed.

We value your input and would like to apologize for the experience regarding the pair of sandals recently purchased from us.
Although a range of quality assurance tests are done to on merchandise destined for our stores, there may be an exception where a quality issue has slipped through unnoticed. Our Returns Policy therefore allows a return or an exchange on merchandise that presents with a potential quality issue provided that the return is made within 6 months from the purchase date and all returns criteria are met.
We have been in contact with both you, and the manager at your nearest Truworths store, and are pleased to confirm that you will visit the store to return the item so that the Store Manager can assess it and satisfactorily resolve the matter.
